b. The condition of being pressed.
2. The application of continuous force by one body on another that it is touching; compression.
3. Abbr. P Physics Force applied uniformly over a surface, measured as force per unit of area.

5. A compelling or constraining influence, such as a moral force, on the mind or will: pressure to conform; peer-group pressure.
6. Urgent claim or demand: under the pressure of business; doesn’t work well under pressure.
7. An oppressive condition of physical, mental, social, or economic distress.
8. A physical sensation produced by compression of a part of the body.
9. Archaic A mark made by application of force or weight; an impression

What i’m feeling right now is ‘under pressure’ no.5-7.
Previously i used to work under pressure as well, but luckily we have a good team to overcome that. Our boss used to scold us at anytime and anywhere without investigating the matters with us. We felt the pressure given, but fortunately, we will gather among our staff…give morale support and we’ll start a new chapter tomorrow. So did our boss, she will start fresh tomorrow and forget everything she threw to us yesterday. And the good thing is she was so supportive in what she’s doing. Even though people keep condemn her, she will still backing up her core business.

But now, the table had turned to the new boss..It’s really complicated. I didn’t know what to do, how to move and i don’t understand him at all and so does our staff except for 1 ‘two-faced’ staff that we have. We actually voted for our new boss, looking at his ideas we were thinking that he could take us to new level, but until now we do not feel like he’s part of us.They’re 8 staff in our office but he chose to believe only to 1 ‘two-faced’ staff who always sucked him up. This staff of ours never cooperate with us, but suddenly cooperate well with our new boss and his strong team. I felt pity to my boss as he thought this fella really sincere to support him but actually he was just using him to go up. Another ‘under pressure’ that i faced was he always condemn our department even though this is now one of his department. Whenever people boo us, he’ll boo us as well instead of fighting for the departments right. I believe as a boss if you were given a broke company, you should be guiding the staff, share your ideas with them and growing the company with them instead of letting them stand up by themselves. After a chat with my boss yesterday, i still have no clue of what i’m gonna do. I felt like asking him to close this shop since work process are getting real complicated and a lot of bureaucracy.

What i do now is:

PRAYER TO EASE DIFFICULTIES

1. Recite Salawat (sending blessings on the Prophet ) 11 times

I was about to sleep on 28th May 2012 when i received a phone call from my lil’ sister, Farra telling me that my 2nd sis will have a baby soon. I was so excited and panic not knowing what to expect since this is our first time witnessing our immediate family member battling in the labor.

We pushed off to Alor Setar (AS) during the midnight and reached AS around 1.45 am..I went and see my sister and she was still herself. Doc informed us she would probably give birth around 9 am since her serviks just opened about 2cm.  So, we slept at her house and after Subuh prayers, i heard my mother told Edy (my bro-in-law) to go in the labor room immediately as doctor already induced her. My mom said it won’t take long for her to deliver. Edy obeyed.

My mom, my husband and i reached hospital around 7 a.m. We waited at the labor room. We chat, we pray, until we heard a baby cried at 7.25 a.m on 29 May 2012. Even though it’s only 25 minutes of wait…it feels like forever. Alhamdullilah…both of them are fine. Dek Qah, u did it before i did. You are such a brave girl. I hope i can be tough as you are. My sister gave birth to a healthy 2.7 kg Princess Keisya Ermina.

I did not see her yet, i only managed to talked to my sister and her experience of giving birth which she hid a lot from me. She told me that it was not that painful and that’s make me hard to believe…(I think she doesn’t want me to think so much since i’m trying to conceive now..heheh). But you are such a strong girl sis.

The brought Keisya home on the next day. Keisya reached her own house on 30 May 2012. She was well behave and adapt well to the surrounding. (This is what my mom told me).

Of course they were many visitors and only i can imagine the crowd. I thanked all for coming and bringing all the presents. And for Keisya, Nda Wana (me) and Uncle Syam (my husband) will come and visit you this Friday. Could not wait to hold you dear princessa…

Congratulations Sharifah Syafeeqah and Mohd Zaidy. Love you much…

A Baby Changes Things

A baby changes things;
They’ll never be the same;
Your life is filled with wonder,
Since your little miracle came.

There’s lots of things to do now,
But with the new tasks you face,
Your family gains more love,
And bonds time will never erase.

Congratulations on your new addition!
